B.O.T.A. Regional Meetings.
Retreats provide an opportunity for members and friends who live in an area inaccessible to group work to meet and interact with other members of B.O.T.A. and experience fellowship and guided shared mediations
Friday 22nd to Sunday the 24th of November 2024
English speaking B.O.T.A. members, their guests, and non-members curious to learn more about the order are invited to attend an autumnal gathering to be held over the weekend at The Study Society, 151 Talgarth Rd, London W14 9DA, where there will be presentations, meditations, and practical work connected with the use of the Sacred Tarot, Tree of Life, and Holy Qabalah.
The gathering will provide the impetus for genuine spiritual growth within a safe, fraternal environment, encouraged by members who seek unity through the practice of true fellowship. Members and guests can meet socially on Friday the 22nd for welcome drinks and an evening meal. The programme will officially start at 10am on Saturday the 23rd and conclude at lunchtime on Sunday the 24th.
On Sunday morning a Vibratory Attunement Ritual will be held, which was developed by Reverend Ann Davies and incorporates Qabalistic chanting. B.O.T.A. members, their guests, and the general public are invited to participate in this beautiful ritual which will be led by the B.O.T.A. London Group.
No preparation beyond interest in the subject matter is needed to participate in the listed activities which will be published in due course. The gathering will be particularly beneficial for all B.O.T.A. members who are unable to attend local study groups; the gathering provides an opportunity for all members to meet other Apprentice Builders on the Path. There will be regional members of the B.O.T.A. European Board who can provide expert guidance for those who want to set up their own local study groups.
The Study Society is located immediately outside the Barons Court Tube Station (on the Piccadilly and District lines) in West London. There are numerous hotels, bed & breakfast venues, hostels and Airbnb options in the surrounding area. Participants are responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements. The welcome drinks on Friday the 22nd and the dinner on the Saturday the 23rd will be held in a suitable venue near The Study Society. This information will be communicated to registered participants as we get closer to the date of the event.
The price per participant is £50 to cover room hire and refreshments. Please note that meals are not included in this price, but there are numerous affordable venues for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the surrounding area.
If you are interested in attending and would like to reserve your place please send an email to: rc@botalondon.co.uk.
More detailed information about workshops and meditations will be sent out to those who reserve their place as we get nearer to the event. If you have any other questions or need assistance please contact Jonathan on rc@botalondon.co.uk or by phone on +44 7739 419936.
We are looking forward to seeing you in November!
